Fuel Good Day 2026

Fuel Good Day is back! On September 15, 2026, when you fill up your tank at a participating New Horizon Co-op Gas Bars (see below), New Horizon Co-op will donate 10 cents per litre of fuel purchased to a local registered charity or non-profit organization (listed below). All grades of gasoline and diesel are eligible.

The cash donations from Fuel Good Day go directly back into supporting our communities.

Last year’s Fuel Good Day was a tremendous success, highlighting the power of community support. Thanks to the generosity of local customers, the event achieved impressive results:

69,343 litres of fuel sold

2,964 cookies purchased

138 car washes completed

Over $4,300 raised through BBQ sales

In total, the event raised $13,951.40 for local causes, including:

$9,963.44 for The Kidney Foundation

$1,456.61 for the Falher Friendship Corner Association

$2,531.35 for the Hythe Firefighters Association

Organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated, noting that the event demonstrates the Co-op’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities.
