Co-op Growing Leaders 4-H Sponsorship
ActionsNew Horizon Co-op, in collaboration with 12 other local Alberta Co-ops, Federated Co-operatives Ltd, and 4-H Alberta, is excited to support the Alberta agricultural community by funding new 4-H memberships.
As part of our commitment to making a positive impact in our communities and enhancing local 4-H programming, we have joined forces with other Co-ops across the province to sponsor the Co-op Growing Leaders program. This initiative aims to fund new 4-H Alberta members. This is the second year New Horizon Co-op is participating, and the program is entering its third year of funding, gaining momentum with each cycle. Together we are collaboratively fulfilling the $50,000 Gold Clover 4-H Alberta sponsorship level for the 2024-2025 program year. Last year, we allocated $26,000 to support 209 new members across Alberta, and we’re excited to see those numbers grow for the upcoming season!
New Horizon Co-op serves a vast trading area, supporting communities including Grande Prairie, Clairmont, Grande Cache, Valleyview, Falher, Fox Creek, Fairview, Rycroft, LaGlace, Beaverlodge, and Hythe.
