The Community Support Fund offers cash or in-kind donations to non-profit groups and organizations that aim to support programming, complete projects, or enhance facilities and services that improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. We are proud to partner with initiatives that strengthen our local community and enrich the lives of its members through impactful events and programs.

We welcome applications from:

Youth organizations and events
Local school teams, activities, and events
Community groups, non-profit organizations, and events

Please note that the following are ineligible to apply:

Individuals
Federal, provincial, or municipal government agencies and school boards
Projects or programs outside of New Horizon Co-op's trading area
Groups or initiatives that could have an adverse social or environmental impact

At New Horizon Co-op, like many community-focused businesses, we receive a high volume of donation requests from local organizations. To ensure that each request is carefully reviewed, please allow a minimum of two weeks for us to assess and respond.

We are committed to supporting as many community initiatives as possible. However, due to the large number of requests we receive, not all proposals, even those from valuable organizations, may be approved. Please understand that a decision not to fund your request in no way reflects the importance of your organization or the essential services you provide.

At New Horizon Co-op, we care deeply about our families, friends, and neighbours, as well as the communities where we live, work, and play. Co-ops are built by and for the communities they serve, and we are proud to support initiatives that help strengthen our collective well-being.
