Excellence in Community Legacy Scholarship
Excellence in Community Legacy Scholarship
The New Horizon Co-op Excellence in Community Legacy Scholarship was established in honour of our former General Manager, Laurie Gronhovd. Laurie, a long-time resident near Beaverlodge, was a dedicated leader who believed in the power of giving back to the community. Her daughter, Kelsey—also a Co-op employee—graduated from Beaverlodge Regional High School, further strengthening their connection to the area.
This scholarship is designed to recognize and support students who demonstrate a strong commitment to community involvement and cooperative values. It aims to reward individuals who have made a positive impact through volunteer work, leadership, or other community-centered activities, while also pursuing post-secondary education.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a 2025 graduate of Beaverlodge Regional High.
- Must be planning to attend a post-secondary institution in the fall of 2025.
- Demonstrated involvement in community activities, volunteer work, or leadership.
Submission Deadline: CLOSED
